A clinical psychological intervention through the group, from the role of communication assistant, in a high school
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper discusses the possibility of developing a clinical psychology function from a role that formally does not provide it, but within which it proves necessary. The role is that of communication assistant in a high school. It will be proposed how working to promote integration within the school, acting out omnipotent fantasies of homogenization, without doing maintenance of what is being done and experienced, and without agreeing on the goals to be pursued, leads to entrenchment in failed positions, by actors who would need to collaborate, but find themselves, within the acting out, lined up as enemy parties. Think of school workers articulated in all their roles, of students, of families. Shifting from focusing on the individual to dealing with troubled relationships makes it possible to make tractable problems experienced as intractable and to activate resources. It will be proposed that the establishment of a setting capable of analyzing and thinking about the acting out, such as a work group that provides moments of suspension of organizational action, is one way through which to deal with the individual-context relationship.
