Violence against women: theoretical prospectives and experiences of integration and prevention in the outskirts and in the province of Naples

Abstract

Violence against women is an age-old problem of our culture that has recently become one of the main topics of scientific and media debate. After positioning the phenomenon in the theoretical framework of psychoanalysis, emphasizing the difficulty of recognizing the Other as such, will be explained the methods of psychodynamic intervention of two doors listening anti violence . The phenomenon of violence against women is considered in its relational nature, as the perverse relationship dynamic can be illustrated as a "meshing" (Racamier, 2003) consists of two parts, the mold and the counter, which fit perfectly. We believe that the psychological intervention and the initial reception in front of this issue must confront the difficulty of symbolization of users who turn to services, which can result in the same difficulties of operators to maintain its position as the professional front to a dynamic strongly linked. By focusing on these critical issues can recognize the violence, give it a name, set up a thought about the dynamics that were the domain of acting out and start the process of personal empowerment, which runs parallel to that of empowermerment social, thanks to the synergy of subjects, agencies, institutions and services, private or not, who make up the network as they strive to combat violence against women. In this regard, it will be described the intervention of prevention promoted in a school in the outskirts of Naples, to promote a culture of gender among the younger generation, discovering the pleasure of meeting "the stranger."
